The Academy Behind the Camps

The Academy Behind the Camps

Every Ferrero Academy Camp is powered by the training methodology, coaching expertise, and values of the JC Ferrero Tennis Academy in Villena, Spain.

Founded in 1990 by Antonio Martínez Cascales, the coach who guided Juan Carlos Ferrero to the ATP World No. 1 ranking, the academy has spent over three decades developing complete tennis players. Its track record speaks for itself: Carlos Alcaraz (ATP No. 1), Pablo Carreño Busta (ATP Top 10), Nicolás Almagro (ATP Top 10), David Ferrer (ATP Top 3), and dozens of nationally ranked juniors across categories.

But the academy’s greatest achievement isn’t a ranking. It’s that after more than 30 years, players and families still describe it as a place that feels like home.

Why We Started Running Camps Worldwide

For years, families traveled to Villena from every continent so their children could train at the academy. Many asked the same question: why can’t you bring this to us?

Ferrero Academy Camps are the answer. We take the same proven methodology, the same coaching standards, and the same values — and deliver them in a five-day camp format at quality venues in cities around the world. Every camp is led by coaches who have been trained at the academy in Spain and who travel specifically to run these programs.

The goal is simple: give more players access to a world-class tennis development experience without requiring a plane ticket to Spain.

Why We Started Running Camps Worldwide

What Makes Ferrero Different

A Methodology Proven at the Highest Level

This isn't a generic tennis curriculum. Our four-pillar methodology has been developed through decades of coaching players from junior level to the ATP and WTA Tours. It works because it was tested against the ultimate standard: professional tour results.

Coaches from the Source

Our camp coaches aren't local hires who receive a manual. They are professionals selected and trained at the JC Ferrero Tennis Academy, with direct experience in the system they're teaching. They travel from Spain for every camp.

A Culture of Care

At the academy, over 30 nationalities live and train together year-round. Juan Carlos Ferrero himself lives on the grounds with his family and knows the players by name. That family spirit — where every player is valued, supported, and challenged — is embedded in how our coaches work, wherever in the world the camp takes place.

Every Player Belongs

Whether your child is 8 and hitting their first forehands or 15 and preparing for national-level competition, our camps group players by age and level so everyone trains at the right intensity. We believe every player deserves coaching that takes them seriously — regardless of their starting point.
